Test Automation Engineer

Exactpro specialises in AI-enabled software testing services and related software development with a focus on test automation for financial market infrastructures worldwide. We design software for testing technologically sophisticated platforms of our clients – leading financial industry companies. We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who will be supporting our clients’ projects.

We expect candidates to have a background in Test Automation/software development or system administration and have experience of working with Python, Powershell, Bash scripting or Golang. It would be beneficial to have experience with Docker, Terraform and Jenkins. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Clients’ projects by creating and executing automated test scenarios, reporting bugs, building deployment pipelines, setting up test environments and configuring them.

Responsibilities:

• designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts;
• implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the project’s IT infrastructures;
• setting up and configuring environments;
• building deployment pipelines;
• troubleshooting and resolving issues;
• implementing automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment (CI/CD).

Requirements

• degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar;
• 2 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer/Software developer or System Administrator; 
• scripting experience (Python, Powershell, Bash);
• experience with Docker, k8s, CI/CD, Git;
• knowledge of systems and platform security;
• good problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• performance testing experience will be an advantage;
• experience with Kubernetes, Terraform and Jenkins will be a plus.
