Role overview

Being a Junior Front-end JavaScript Developer, you will work on the project aimed at developing a trading platform for our client – a large trading firm with offices in 28 countries around the world.

We are creating a reactive fail-safe microservice system, based on messaging with the frontend in JavaScript.

Key objectives:

• develop new and support existing UI components;
• fix bugs in the code;
• study the principles of building a modern JS application;
• actively collaborate with other developers and the testing team.

Requirements:

• solid grasp of JavaScript fundamentals: understanding of core concepts like scope, closures, prototypal inheritance, DOM manipulation, and event handling;
• knowledge of a major JavaScript library/framework; direct, hands-on experience with ExtJS is a significant plus;
• web fundamentals: good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3;
• version control: familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., Git Flow, pull requests);
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
• good verbal and written communication skills; ability to ask clear questions and articulate ideas;
• passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
